Join our Team
Anxiety & OCD Treatment Services, PLLC is seeking a full-time licensed clinician to join our growing outpatient specialty practice in West Des Moines, Iowa. We provide high-quality, evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders, OCD-spectrum disorders, and trauma- and stressor-related disorders across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults.
Our practice is grounded in evidence-based care, clinician collaboration, and professional development. Services are delivered through a hybrid model, combining in-person therapy at our fully furnished office with telehealth (work from home) options.
About the Position
Individual therapy is provided using empirically supported approaches, with emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure-based approaches (exposure and response prevention [ERP], interoceptive exposure, prolonged exposure [PE], cognitive processing therapy [CPT]), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). A large portion of our referral stream consists of individuals with OCD seeking ERP, so passion for working with this population and treatment approach is important.
You do not need to have advanced exposure experience. We provide ongoing training and consultation for clinicians who have a solid CBT foundation and genuine interest in exposure-based work, and we support continued growth for clinicians at every stage of their career.
Full-time is defined as 25 clinical hours per week. Referral intake, scheduling, and billing are handled by the practice, so clinicians can focus on clinical care rather than the administrative demands of running a solo practice.
Compensation & Benefits
Master's-level (LISW/LMHC/LMFT): starting base salary of $75,000
Doctoral-level (PhD/PsyD): starting base salary of $95,000
These are starting salary figures; compensation is higher for those joining at mid- or later-career levels. Clinical hours beyond the 25-hour baseline are compensated through a quarterly incentive bonus. For example, a clinician carrying 30 clinical hours per week can expect total first-year compensation of approximately $101,000 (master's-level) or $127,500 (doctoral-level).
Additional benefits include:
-
Retirement plan with employer match
-
Health insurance contribution
-
Short- and long-term disability coverage
-
Paid time off and paid holidays
-
Professional development stipend
-
Fully furnished office space in a modern, professional setting
Culture and Professional Development
We hold weekly team case consultations and monthly team meetings, and clinicians are expected to actively participate as part of a collaborative, team-based practice. Every three weeks, we have lunch & learns where clinicians earn CEUs, and each clinician receives a $500 annual professional development stipend in addition to our ongoing training.
We are actively involved in community outreach and education related to anxiety and OCD, and as the practice grows, there will be additional opportunities for clinical leadership.
