Join our Team!
Anxiety & OCD Treatment Services is seeking a full-time licensed (or license-eligible) clinician to join our growing outpatient specialty practice in West Des Moines, Iowa. We provide high-quality, evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders, OCD-spectrum disorders, and trauma- and stressor-related disorders across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults, delivered through a hybrid model combining in-person therapy at our fully furnished office with telehealth (work from home) options.
Full-time means 25 clinical hours per week. We have strong, consistent referral demand, and most clinicians reach a full caseload within 6-8 weeks of starting.
About the Position
Our practice specializes exclusively in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety, OCD, and related conditions. Our core specialty is exposure therapy, including exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD.
You do not need to have advanced experience in exposure-based treatment to join our team. We can teach the clinical skills specific to anxiety and OCD; what matters most to us is that you have a genuine interest in this population, are curious about evidence-based treatment, and are committed to continued learning and growth. We provide ongoing training and consultation and support clinicians at every stage of their careers as they develop their expertise.
What You'll Do
-
Provide individual therapy (including CBT, ERP, and other exposure-based approaches) to clients with anxiety, OCD, and related conditions, via in-person and telehealth sessions
-
Conduct intakes, case formulations, and treatment planning within an evidence-based framework
-
Participate in weekly case consultation, monthly team meetings, and regular lunch & learns
-
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
What We'll Handle
As a W-2 employee, you'll be able to focus on clinical work while we handle the business side of practice, including:
-
Marketing
-
Client referrals
-
Scheduling
-
Billing
-
A fully furnished office space
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Base Salary
Master's-level (LISW/LMHC/LMFT): $75,000+
Doctoral-level (PhD/PsyD): $95,000+
These are starting salary figures; compensation is higher for those joining at mid- or later-career levels. Clinical hours beyond the 25-hour baseline are compensated through a quarterly incentive bonus. For example, a clinician carrying 30 clinical hours per week can expect total first-year compensation of approximately $101,000+ (master's-level) or $127,500+ (doctoral-level).
Additional benefits include:
-
Retirement plan with employer match
-
Health insurance contribution
-
Short- and long-term disability coverage
-
Paid time off and paid holidays
-
Professional development stipend ($500/year)
-
Fully furnished office space in a modern, professional setting
Culture and Professional Development
We hold weekly team case consultations and monthly team meetings, and clinicians are expected to actively participate as part of a collaborative, team-based practice. We are looking for clinicians who want to be an active part of a team - not simply work alongside other therapists. We value thoughtful discussion of cases, openness to feedback, and learning from one another.
Every three weeks, we have Lunch & Learns where clinicians earn CEUs, and each clinician receives a $500 annual professional development stipend in addition to our ongoing training. We believe strong clinicians are lifelong learners, and we value curiosity and a genuine desire to continue developing your clinical skills.
We are actively involved in community outreach and education related to anxiety and OCD, and as the practice grows, there will be additional opportunities for clinical leadership.
