Ashley Cochran, LISW
Licensed Independent Social Worker
Ashley Cochran is a licensed independent social worker who specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in adults. Her therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. She meets clients where they are, and focuses on their unique needs and strengths. Ashley uses a mix of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel supported and empowered to make meaningful change.
Ashley earned her B.S. in neuroscience from Drake University and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Northern Iowa. During her MSW program, she completed internships in oncology social work and clinical outpatient mental health therapy. She went on to work as an outpatient therapist in private practice supporting adults with a variety of mental health conditions.
